Integrating Technologies for low carbon

Hethel Engineering Centre, Norwich - Integration of technologies related to advanced IC engines, transmissions, hybridisation that enable the delivery of the low carbon

Norwich

29 September 2009

It is apparent that no single technology alone can meet the legislative challenges of the UK governments target of an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050. Combined, however, real advances can be made, but necessitate strategies for integration.

Presentations will cover the integration of technologies related to advanced IC engines, transmissions, hybridisation and electrification that enable the delivery of the low carbon benefits without compromising vehicle driveability and driver perception. Speakers include representatives from Lotus, Cenex, Jaguar Land Rover, Continental Automotive and leading academics.
